Welcome to Versailles in Bloom, where the opulence of 18th-century France meets the timeless beauty of springtime in the Hudson Valley. Step into a world of elegance, where every corner of the garden is adorned with spring blooms, reminiscent of the gardens of Versailles during the reign of the iconic Queen Marie Antoinette.
In this enchanting photoshoot, we pay homage to the legendary queen who famously transformed the landscape of Versailles into a botanical paradise. As you wander through the gardens at Blithewood, allow yourself to be transported back in time to an era of refinement and romance.
Between photoshoot sessions, treat yourself to a serene picnic amidst by the aroma of blooming flowers. Recline on blankets beneath the shade of towering trees and enjoy an array of delectable treats, from finger sandwiches and artisanal cheeses to pastries and champagne.

Blithewood, part of the Bard College campus, encompasses a historic estate featuring a manor house, outbuildings, drives, gardens, lawns, and meadows across forty-five acres.
Dating back to the Gilded Age (1870–1900), the garden boasts a traditional Italianate design, featuring geometric paths, symmetrical beds, a central water feature, statuary, marble ornaments, and enclosed walls, created to provide a haven, for its visitors. The walled garden terminates at a pavilion with panoramic views of the Hudson River.

Model tickets include private photo sessions with two professional photographers and 3-5 edited images. You also have the option to enhance your experience by adding a day rental of a beautiful Rococo-style dress from a variety of designers.
If you're interested in joining to create content, please purchase a collaborator ticket, which allows you to take photos and videos at any time during the event.
A portion of ticket sales will go towards a donation to the gardens.
Upon ticket purchase, all participants must complete the release form provided HERE.
