We do our very best to make sure you are prepared before our events and know exactly what to expect. We know your time is valuable and our events run on a detailed schedule and are organzied so you can get the most out of your day.

GENERAL
How do I get to the location?
The best way to reach the property is by car, however there are nearby trains stations that can be combined with an uber to get here.
Trains: From NYC: Grand Central to Poughkeepsie via MTA (2hrs) and 35 min for property. From Albany: Albany-Rensselaer Station to Rhinecliff (1hr 30m) via Amtrack Empire Service and 20 min for property.
Driving: From the south it's an easy drive straight up the Taconic Parkway.
The driveway entrance will be marked. Parking is available on site.

What should I bring and wear?
Please dress appropriately for a wooded property—wear boots or sturdy closed-toe shoes and dress in layers based on the weather. We recommend bringing a water bottle, snacks, a phone charger, and business cards or other networking materials.

What will the schedule be like?
Models are welcome to start arriving around 9am to get ready (info on hair and makeup TBA). We will have a space for hair, makeup, and changing. Please plan be on site for an introduction around 11am. Photo sessions will around promptly after the intro. An afternoon picnic setup for lunch and photo ops will take place in the late afternoon. Photo sessions will run until sunset.

Attendees will have the opportunity to shoot at various picturesque locations throughout the property. With many distinct shooting locations available, models and photographers can spend the entire day capturing stunning images. A detailed schedule will be given ahead of time.
What are the facilities like?
In the morning, models will have access to the main house on-site. The space will provide a cozy setting for early morning preparations, allowing models to relax, have coffee and tea, and get ready before heading out to the various outdoor locations.
For the rest of the day, tented areas an a covered garage will serve as the central hub, providing a convenient space for models to change outfits, do touch-ups, and unwind between shoots. A bathroom is located on site.
Will there be food?
Complimentary refreshments and snacks will be available during breaks between activities. A picnic lunch charcuterie style will be provided mid-afternoon. Attendees are invited to meet up for dinner and drinks at a nearby restaurant after the shoot.

What if it rains?
The rain date is the day after. Emails will be sent out with any date change due to inclement weather. Covered areas are available if there's light showers throughout the day.
What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel your registration for the event, please notify us as soon as possible.
Cancellations made before 3 weeks prior to the event will be eligible for a full refund of the registration fee. Cancellations made within 3 weeks of the event date will be subject to a partial refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within one week before the event or for no-shows.
Refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment within 10 of the cancellation request. Please allow for processing time and note that it may take several business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Do you accept payment plans?
Your specific payment plan will be written on the invoice. Depsoits are non-refundable.
FOR MODELS
What ticket tier should I get?

Wanderer Pass – $175: Ideal if you want full access to all-day photoshoot opportunities, crafts, activities, and the woodland setting. This tier is perfect for models who enjoy creative freedom, collaboration, and casual shooting with other attendees.

Story-Weaver Pass – $300: Perfect for models who want a more guided experience with guaranteed professional results. This tier includes everything in the Wanderer Pass, plus three private photoshoot sessions with a featured photographer, complete with professionally edited images.

If your goal is polished, portfolio-ready images and a personalized experience, the Story-Weaver Pass is the best choice. If you’re looking for a flexible, fun day of creativity and content creation on a budget, the Wanderer Pass will be a great fit.
What should I wear?
Anything you'd like! All themes and ideas are welcome, but we encourage you to stay in the event's witchy / cottagecore theme for cohesively. Models are responsible for providing their own wardrobe unless previously agreed upon look rentals were made. A variety of dresses, headpieces, and accessories from the host's collection may be available for use, please let us know if you are interested in anything from the wardrobe list. You are welcome to change as much as you would like for any shooting before or after you private session.
What should I bring?
Models should come prepared with touch-up hair and makeup supplies, a small mirror, at least one full photoshoot look, and any jewelry, accessories, or props. It's a good idea to have a robe, sweater, or cover-up for between shots.

How does the Couples Session add-on work?
If you purchase the couples session add-on, you may bring one guest to join you for your private photo sessions. Your photos will feature the two of you together. Individual photos may be taken only if time allows.
How many photos will I receive?

Wanderer Pass – There are no guaranteed edited photos included with this pass. Guest photographers will be shooting throughout the day and are encouraged to capture as many models as possible, but they are not required to share images. You are welcome to create your own content on your phone or collaborate with other attendees to capture additional photos.

Story-Weaver Pass – You will receive at least 3 professionally edited photos per private session from the featured photographers. While three is the minimum, our photographers will aim to deliver as many high-quality images as possible, giving you polished, portfolio-ready content

How and when will I get my photo edits?
A Google Photos link will be shared the day of the event for everyone to post BTS content. A Google Drive link will be sent out the following week with galleries for all photographers to begin uploading edited photos. Private photo session images will be given within two months after the shoot.
All team members will be given social tags and encouraged to credit when posting.
FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
What do I get with a Wanderer Pass?
The Wanderer Pass gives photographers full-day access to the 150-acre woodland property and all of its scenic locations, props, and sets. You can:

Note: This pass does not include guaranteed access to specific models. It’s perfect for photographers who enjoy flexible, creative shooting and collaboration in a magical woodland setting.
What equipment is available on site?
There will be no equipment on site - photographers should bring cameras, reflectors, batteries and any props or special equipment for creative shots.
Am I required to shoot a certain amount or share my images?
There is no limit or specific requirement on the number of photos that may taken during the Event. However, everyone is encouraged to photograph as many models as possible during open sessions to maximize both my experience and portfolio, as well that of the models attending.
While not required, sharing a selection of my edited images with the attendees and event organizer is encouraged, as these may be used for promotional purposes or future event materials.
Everyone will receive a link to a Google Drive folder where you can upload your photos. Any photos you upload to the shared Google Drive folder will be accessible to the full team for their personal use and professional promotion.
